Jessica L. Hallmark
Jessica L. Hallmark is a native of Beaumont. Following graduation from Lamar University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications, she received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in May 2003. She was admitted to the State Bar of Texas the same year. Jessica has a wide range of experience ranging from defending multi-billion dollar companies, as well as governmental entities, to representing people against multi-billion dollar companies. She has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict, from personal injury matters to employment, as well as contested probate matters. Litigation is not her only specialty, as she also handles the appellate side of cases. For example, in 2013 she successfully argued in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. See Bradberry v. Jefferson County, Texas, 732 F.3d 540 (5th Cir. 2013). Jessica is married with four children and an active member of Calder Baptist Church. When she is not working or caring for her family, you can usually find her outdoors.
